Bio

My journey into perimenopausal and menopausal care didn’t start in a classroom—it started with my own experience.

While I was completing my Master’s degree and earning my Family Nurse Practitioner certification, I began experiencing significant symptoms myself—mood changes, night sweats, increased anxiety, and brain fog. That experience led me to dive deeply into the research surrounding hormone therapy and women’s midlife health. I wasn’t just learning as a provider—I was searching for answers as a patient.

After graduating, I began working as an aesthetic and wellness Nurse Practitioner at a franchise medi-spa. It was there that I quickly recognized a concerning pattern: a one-size-fits-all, sales-driven approach to hormone and wellness care. It didn’t align with the complexity I was seeing in women—or with the evidence I had been studying.

That realization pushed me to seek out more advanced, evidence-based education. I began working with Midi Health, where I received high-quality training that aligned with both the literature and leading experts in the field. Through telehealth, I cared for women across multiple states—many of whom had limited access to comprehensive peri- and menopausal care, including testosterone therapy, due to restrictions within larger healthcare systems.

At the same time, I continued to invest heavily in my education—completing advanced coursework and ultimately earning my certification as a Menopause Society Certified Provider (MSCP). This has allowed me to provide a higher level of individualized, evidence-based care for women navigating midlife and beyond.

But as my passion for women’s health grew, so did my awareness of another critical issue—the well-being of the providers caring for them.

I saw firsthand the toll that the healthcare system was taking on Nurse Practitioners—many of whom are women themselves, often navigating their own perimenopausal symptoms while carrying heavy patient loads, high stress, and limited support, all while being undervalued in their roles.

That intersection—between women’s health and provider well-being—became a driving force for me.

It led me to look more closely at the business of medicine and ultimately inspired me to build a model of care that supports both: delivering exceptional, individualized care for women, while also creating an environment where Nurse Practitioners are respected, supported, and able to practice at the highest level.

Because when we take care of the women—and the providers who care for them—we elevate the entire standard of care.

Sigma Core Values

1. Others First
“We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give.” – Winston Churchill
At Sigma, we lead with service. We show up for our patients, our teammates, and our community with generosity, humility, and intention. Every decision is grounded in one question: How can we serve better? Because true impact begins when we put others before ourselves.
2. Provider First
We believe the best patient care starts with cared-for providers. Sigma is built on the principle of taking care of those who take care of others. We honor, support, and invest in our Nurse Practitioners—ensuring they have the time, autonomy, and respect to practice exceptional medicine without compromise.
3. Rest as a Standard
We work hard—but we recover just as intentionally. Rest is not a reward; it’s a requirement. We believe that clarity, compassion, and excellence are fueled by restoration. By prioritizing rest, joy, and balance, we show up fully—able to give from abundance, not depletion.
4. Relentless Expertise
We are committed to mastery through continuous learning. Expertise is not about knowing everything—it’s about the pursuit of excellence. We invest in ongoing education, advanced certifications, and evidence-based practice to ensure our patients receive the highest level of care, always.
5. Advancing Women’s Health
Women deserve better—and we are here to deliver it. We are deeply committed to providing innovative, individualized, and evidence-based care for women at every stage of life. We advocate for progress in research, education, and policy—because women’s health should never be an afterthought.
6. Disrupting Medicine
We are redefining what healthcare should be. Sigma challenges the traditional, insurance-driven model that prioritizes volume over value. We are provider-led, patient-centered, and intentionally designed to deliver unrushed, personalized care—guided by what each woman truly needs, not what the system dictates.
