How to Advocate for Yourself in Perimenopause and Menopause

October 1 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Advocating for yourself in perimenopause and menopause should not be necessary.

But you already know it is. You have described your symptoms to a provider who barely looked up. They glanced at a normal lab and handed you a pamphlet on managing stress. You walked out feeling dismissed, maybe even a little gaslit, wondering if you imagined the whole thing.

That exam room moment is exactly what this event exists to fix. Maybe the provider does not know menopause. Maybe they will not take the time to look closer. Either way, you leave that chair knowing exactly what to say and what to ask next time.

Three Vetted Konenki Providers sit down together for a real conversation, not a lecture. You will hear from a physician, a nurse practitioner, and a clinical hormone health coach. Together they walk through what has actually changed in hormone therapy guidance. They explain why the question you ask matters more than the headline. You will learn to spot a real choice in delivery method, and to recognize when a provider offers only one. They cover what to ask for beyond a standard lab panel. You will hear what a productive first appointment sounds like, and the red flags that tell you it is not. And you will see how these three kinds of providers can work together on your behalf. No more coordinating your own care alone.

Maybe you have left an appointment feeling unheard. Maybe a provider handed you one option and called it a choice. Maybe you are simply done walking in unprepared. This is where you learn to advocate for yourself in perimenopause and menopause, so no one dismisses you again.

You Will Discover

  • What recently changed with FDA guidance on hormone therapy, and why the specific question you ask matters more than the headline
  • How to tell whether you are being offered a real choice in hormone delivery methods, not just the one option a provider defaults to
  • What to ask for beyond a standard lab panel, and how a symptom rating scale can put language to what you are feeling
  • What a productive first appointment actually sounds like, and the red flags that signal it will not be one
  • How a physician, a nurse practitioner, and a coach each play a different role in your care, and why the strongest care usually involves more than one
  • Real language you can bring into your very next appointment

Who This Is For

  • Your labs came back normal, but you still do not feel like yourself
  • You have only ever been offered an OB/GYN, and you are wondering if that is really your only option
  • You want care that takes your insurance and are not sure where to find a provider who does
  • Your symptoms do not fit a standard protocol, and you want a provider who looks past it
  • You want to understand your own labs and options well enough to speak up at your next visit
  • You were told there was only one hormone therapy option for you, and you are wondering if that is true
