Relationships: How Menopause Changes Everything — Including Your Most Important Connections (partners encouraged to attend)

May 12 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

You’ve been navigating the physical and emotional shifts of perimenopause and menopause. But something else may be shifting too — your relationships.

Your capacity shrinks. Old dynamics feel harder to carry. You may notice more distance — with a partner, with people you love, or even with yourself. The gap widens quietly, and it’s easy to wonder what’s wrong with you — or with them.

Nothing is wrong. But something is changing. And understanding what that is can make all the difference.

This Konenki conversation brings together three perspectives rarely held in the same space:

  • The physiological reality of perimenopause and what it does to your capacity for everything
  • The nervous system and emotional patterns that resurface in midlife — and the body-based tools that create lasting change
  • The relational dynamics that emerge under that pressure, and how to design connections that can actually hold

This is not a relationship advice talk or a communication tips session. It is an informed, honest conversation designed to help women — and the people who love them — understand what is happening beneath the surface, and what becomes possible when they do.

You will leave with a clearer picture of what menopause is doing to your relationships, greater compassion for yourself and for those around you, and a more grounded sense of where to begin.

What You Will Gain

  • Understanding of how hormonal and nervous system changes affect your relational capacity and emotional bandwidth
  • Insight into why midlife so often surfaces old patterns, distance, and disconnection
  • Language that separates biology from blame — for you and for the people closest to you
  • A clearer picture of how the people who love you may be responding out of habit, not indifference
  • Practical ways to begin designing relationships that can hold under real-life pressure

Who This Is For

Women in perimenopause or menopause who:

  • Feel like their closest relationships have gotten harder to navigate
  • Notice more irritability, withdrawal, or emotional distance — in themselves or in others
  • Are struggling to feel understood, even by people who love them
  • Want to understand what’s driving the disconnection before it widens further
  • Are looking for language, insight, and a way forward — not just another thing to fix

Partners and husbands are welcome — and honestly, encouraged to attend.
