Midlife Intimacy After the Kids Leave: What changes for both of you in menopause, and how to reconnect

August 20 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Partners are welcome to join us.

If midlife intimacy feels harder than anyone warned you, then you are not imagining it.

The kids have grown, and the house is quieter. You and your partner are standing in a season you were too busy to plan for. For years the relationship ran on logistics: schedules, school runs, who picks up whom. But now the noise has cleared. So what remains is the two of you, looking at each other, quietly wondering who you both are now.

That question is not a sign something has broken. Instead, it is the honest start of a new chapter. And it lands right in the middle of perimenopause and menopause, while your body and moods shift on their own timeline. Estrogen changes. Sleep changes. Desire changes. But you are not the only one changing, because your partner is moving through midlife shifts too. And no one told most couples how those changes collide, or how to talk about them.

This free, live conversation brings together three Vetted Konenki Providers. Together they help you make sense of midlife intimacy from three angles at once: the relationship itself, the biology underneath it, and the identity you are growing into. First, you will hear how a partnership that once revolved around parenting can revolve around each other again. Then you will learn what actually shifts hormonally, for women and for men. And you will see why staying connected matters for far more than the bedroom. So you will leave seeing this stretch of midlife as steadier and warmer than the one before it.

This is where you stop figuring it out alone.

What You Will Gain

  • A real answer to “what now?” as parenting winds down, and a calm way to raise it with your partner.
  • A clearer picture of what your body is doing now, and why your desire and energy have shifted.
  • An understanding of what your partner may be moving through too, so the changes stop feeling like yours alone.
  • Reasons that staying close, physically and emotionally, is good for your brain and body, not only your relationship.
  • A sense that this season can be a beginning, not a loss, and a clear first step toward support.

Who This Is For

  • Women whose youngest has just left, and who are unsure what the relationship looks like without kids at the center.
  • Women who feel more like co-managers than partners after years of running a household.
  • Women in perimenopause or menopause who notice their desire, mood, or sense of self shifting, with nowhere to take it.
  • Women without children who are moving through midlife and partnership, and want a conversation that includes them.
  • Women who want to reconnect with their partner but do not know where to start.
