Reinvention & Identity After 40

June 2 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Somewhere in your 40s or 50s, you look up and realize: the rules stopped working. You’ve been holding everything together — the kids, the aging parents, the career, the household — and somewhere in all of that, you got lost.

You’re not falling apart. You’re in the middle of one of the most significant identity shifts a woman goes through.

For some women, that shift includes coming out — as gay, bisexual, or queer — for the first time in midlife. For others, it’s a career, a marriage, a sense of self, or a life that no longer fits. Whatever form it takes, this conversation holds space for all of it.

You don’t have to figure it out alone.

What We’ll Explore Together

This isn’t a panel of experts talking at you. It’s a conversation designed to meet you exactly where you are — and help you see where you could go.

We’ll dig into questions that midlife women are sitting with but rarely say out loud:

  • What do I need to let go of to make room for who I’m becoming?
  • How does the space I live in reflect — or hold back — my next chapter?
  • What does it take to finally say yes to myself?
  • What does it mean to come out — to your identity, your desires, or the life you actually want — at 40, 50, or beyond?

You’ll hear real stories from women who came in one version of themselves and left as someone they didn’t expect — and someone they’re proud to be.

Meet the Speakers

Kate Higgins is a therapist-turned-coach and podcaster who guides women through midlife identity shifts using an archetypal framework — Maiden, Mother, Empress, Crone. She specializes in creating space for women who’ve spent decades taking care of everyone else to finally be witnessed, held, and helped forward. Her signature work includes menopause ceremonies, EFT Tapping, and 1:1 and group coaching for unconventional women ready to step into their most vibrant chapter.

Claudette Rowley is a wellness-first interior designer who creates spaces that don’t just look good — they feel good. A former social worker and leadership consultant, Claudette brings her signature WIRED Design Method™ to help clients clarify how they want to feel in their spaces and make intentional choices that reflect who they’re becoming. She knows that how you design your environment is an act of identity — and that asking “how do I want to feel here?” is often the beginning of transformation.

Frances Walsh is a certified Life Coach dedicated to helping women dismantle the patterns holding them back and design lives that feel authentically their own. Drawing on her own experience navigating career reinvention, life across three continents, and coming out as a lesbian later in life, Frances brings rare honesty and lived wisdom to her work. She guides women who are done settling — toward lives led with intention, purpose, and the courage to be unapologetically themselves.
